Privacy

This policy covers rindler.com, the Rindler corporate website. Rindler is a Y Combinator S26 company. Our product, Maxxwell, lives on a separate surface at maxxwell.dev, with its own data handling; this policy does not describe it.

The short version

This site is a handful of static HTML pages. There is no sign-up, no form, no account, no analytics, and no cookies. We do not build a profile of you from your visit. The only personal information we ever hold because of this site is what you choose to put in an email to us.

What this site collects

Nothing directly. No page here asks you for anything or gives you a field to type into. We write no JavaScript into these pages, and we load no third-party content — no fonts, images, embeds, tag managers, ad pixels, or social widgets from other domains.

What our host processes

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Any host must receive a request before it can answer one, so Cloudflare processes ordinary request metadata: your IP address, your user agent, the page you asked for, the time you asked for it, and related network and connection details. Cloudflare uses this to deliver and cache the pages, to keep the site available, and to defend it against attacks and abuse.

That processing is Cloudflare's, under Cloudflare's own privacy terms. We do not run our own visitor logs, dashboards, or reports on top of it, and we do not try to identify individual visitors from it. Cloudflare also obscures the email addresses printed on our pages so that address-harvesting bots have a harder time reading them, which is why an address may appear rewritten. That rewriting does not identify or track you.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own. It uses no browser storage, no fingerprinting, no analytics, and no advertising or measurement tags. There is no consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to. Visiting rindler.com does not get you tracked across other sites.

If you email us

The addresses on this site are ordinary mailboxes: privacy@rindler.com for privacy questions, legal@rindler.com for legal matters, careers@rindler.com for hiring, and hello@rindler.com for anything else. When you write to us, we receive what you send: your address, your name if you give one, and the contents of your message.

We use that to reply to you, to do the thing you asked about, and to keep ordinary business records of the correspondence. We keep messages for as long as they are useful for the reason they were sent and for those records, and no longer. Email is not a confidential channel — it crosses mail systems and networks that neither of us controls — so please do not send us anything sensitive that you would not want read in transit.

What we do not do

Links to other sites

This site links out to maxxwell.dev. Once you follow a link you are on another site, under its practices rather than these. That includes our own product: Maxxwell is a separate service with separate data handling, and its own policy governs there.

Children

This site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to privacy@rindler.com and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to what we do with it. Because this site collects nothing on its own, in practice that means the emails you have sent us.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@rindler.com and say what you want. We may first ask you a question to confirm the request comes from the person it concerns. We will do what the law where you live requires. Where we have to keep something — an ordinary business record of the correspondence, for example — we will say so rather than delete it quietly. We will not treat you worse for having asked.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will change this page and move the date below. There is no notification list, so this page is the record: if a change is significant, we will say so here rather than editing quietly.
